Gaining approval from these agencies is not just a one-time occurrence. At our manufacturing facilities we keep extensive records and adhere to the most stringent quality control. FM
Look for the FM Logo on Western Colloid’s products that hold the Factory Mutual Class-1 approval.
ENERGY STAR
Look for the Energy Star® symbol on the label of our reflective coating products. It means the product meets Energy Star® guidelines for energy efficiency and savings.
Our white acrylic elastomeric coating can be produced in colors to aid in the aesthetics of building exteriors.
Energy Star® and Title 24 Coatings
In addition to white we also produce coatings in colors that meet California Title 24 and Energy Star® requirements.
CRRC
We are proud members and participants of the CRRC’s (Cool Roof Rating Council) Product Rating Program, in which we label our roof surface products with radiative property values rated under a strict program administered by the CRRC. Contractors, architects, building owners and specifiers can rely on this information to help them determine the best choice for their projects.
UL
Western Colloid is proud to carry the UL mark that determines our products have successfully met stringent standards for product safety.*
ICC-ES
Look for the ICC-ES logo (International Code Council – Evaluation Service) to certify that Western Colloid products are in compliance with building codes and requirements nationwide.
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY
Miami-Dade County is looked upon as having the strictest approval processes in the country. Western Colloid products are proud to have been approved for use on buildings in Miami-Dade County. *
